Shipping & Receiving Associate

Aurora, CO | Manufacturing | Full-Time

$18 -21/hour

General Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated individual for our Aurora facility who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working with multiple projects. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for the receipt, confirmation and coordination of all procured parts. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is expected to execute receiving activities, including loading and unloading of goods, the receipt and confirmation and hand-off of receiving documentation, physical inventory, allocation of parts, and coordinating with the procurement/manufacturing team on fulfillment of manufacturing order activities. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is an essential position within the operational team contributing to the fulfillment of 4G/5G concealment poles, hybrid poles, shrouds and other concealment infrastructure required for small cell deployments and wireless technologies.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Evaluate deliveries of goods against Purchase Orders for quantities, revision level and other requirements 
  • Perform physical and electronic transactions of receipts 
  • Ensure items received are placed in proper locations and transacted correctly in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system 
  • Maintain part inventory locations 
  • Pick and load goods  
  • Package products in a manner that adequately protects materials in shipment and storage 
  • Initiate and complete picking and shipping transactions. 
  • Assist in the organization of manufacturing floor 
  • Complete tasks in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and work instructions 
  • Accomplish other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail in the scope of receiving, verifying and allocating parts 
  • Able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications 
  • Good collaboration, teamwork and communication skills 
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015  
  • Participation in CIP 
  • Effective Communications 
  • Self-Motivated, Able to Prioritize, Good Organizational Skills, Seeks Feedback, Aware of Self, Able to Follow Instructions 
  • Strong Math Skills 
  • Basic Computer Skills, MS Office 

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years’ work in inventory management, receiving or other applicable experience (required)

  • Experience transacting in ERP software/system  (Preferred) 

  • High School diploma (required) or associates degree (preferred)  

  • Familiar with material handling equipment (required) and forklift certified (preferred)

  • Forklift certified (preferred)

  • ISO 9001:2015 experience a plus
