Job Description

The Electrician will be responsible for installation and maintenance of the electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in small cell 5G smart poles (also referred to as concealment poles). This includes installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical control, power, and other systems. Candidate must be able to read electrical schematics and work from technical drawings, as well as adhere to specific rules that pertain to code, functionality, and safety. To perform in this role, candidate must have completed a formal apprenticeship and see color to discern National Electric Codes (NEC) compliant color-coded wiring. A valid electrician’s license is required. The position is in Aurora, Colorado.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in electrical work required

  • Experience in manufacturing assembly preferred

  • Successful completion of formal apprenticeship

Job Responsibilities

  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in small cell 5G smart poles.

  • Install conduits/pipes into small cell 5G smart pole for electrical wires and cables.

  • Place and connect wires them to circuit breakers, outlets, transformers, and other system components.

  • Ensure piping complies with electrical codes.

  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them.

  • Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to small cell smart pole.

  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

  • Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

  • Inspect electrical installations and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with national, state, and local codes.

  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical equipment.

  • Replace conduit and wiring as needed.

  • Replace circuit breakers as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

General Position Summary

The Human Resource Director oversees the overall strategic direction, planning, coordination, administration, and evaluation of the human resources function for the company, which has over 60 employees in various locations in Aurora, Boulder and other U.S. locations. The number of employees will grow to over 90 by end of Calendar Year 2022. The director is responsible for developing and ensuring effective implementation of plans, systems, policies and processes for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and recordkeeping, employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), and interfacing with Accounting and Finance with payroll matters.
