General Position Summary

The Human Resource Director oversees the overall strategic direction, planning, coordination, administration, and evaluation of the human resources function for the company, which has over 60 employees in various locations in Aurora, Boulder and other U.S. locations. The number of employees will grow to over 90 by end of Calendar Year 2022. The director is responsible for developing and ensuring effective implementation of plans, systems, policies and processes for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and recordkeeping, employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), and interfacing with Accounting and Finance with payroll matters. The Human Resource Director ensures legal compliance and implementation of the company’s mission and talent strategy. The Director is responsible for recruiting, screening and scheduling interviews; working with the hiring manager and recruiting or staffing agency in hiring personnel; onboarding; and ensure initial training of personnel. The Director oversees the daily workflow of the department as well as ensuring timely annual performance evaluations. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with laws and company policy.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
  • Work with senior management to develop, budget and manage the staffing plan for the company, including pay scale and annual market analysis 
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs
  • Manage and leverage contracted Personnel Employer Organization to include onboarding personnel, e.g., I-9 and background check, annual benefit analysis, annual benefits enrollment, and other matters
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; employment agreements; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Update, maintain and manage the Competency Workbook and training requirements as required by ISO 9001:2015

    Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management; and interface with recruiting and/or staffing firms

  • Oversee and manage personnel onboarding process and procedures as well as documentation 

  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics

  • Research and recommend to senior management a human resource information system (HRIS) and/or talent management system

  • Oversee the implementation and manage the HRIS and/or talent management system

  • Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, including all states in which the company has employees, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance and update employees

  • Update, communicate, document, and manage the Employee Handbook 

  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management and employees, as requires

  • Manage, maintain and protect personnel records and documentation as required by law and policy

  • Develop and implements departmental budget (when required)

Structural Engineer, PE

General Position Summary

We are looking to hire an experienced licensed professional (PE) engineer with excellent analytical, structural engineering, and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate has experience in project management, structural engineering of telecom tower structures, foundation design and strong design experience of welded connections and the application of AASHTO and TIA design codes. The candidate collaborates with the company’s mechanical and electrical engineers and advanced product development design team. The ideal candidate has experience in working closely with contractors and resolving field related issues. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Create structural design and analysis documents for steel concealment and standard poles, concealment shrouds, foundations, and other infrastructure solutions supporting multi-use technologies, including small cells, IoT devices, and electric vehicle charging stations
  • Employ knowledge of structural engineering software such as tnxTower, MIDAS, MathCAD, RISA 3D and other software tools to prepare design and analysis documents
  • Provide technical advice on designs for structure, code compliance, material selection, and safety
  • Work closely with CAD technicians to verify designs and and optimize for fabrication
  • Stamp documents as the  Engineer of Record where licensed. 
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders in managing and tracking project progress

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a highly visible, strategic position responsible for identifying new sources of supply and developing relationships with the current supply base to enhance the negotiation and purchasing of goods, materials, and services to meet Company operational requirements. This includes supplier selection, on-boarding, contract negotiation, and cost estimating. The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price.
